Dr. Joseph Madden, a North Bay Pediatrician, Dr. Yaga Bialski, a
Canadian Psychotherapist and Mr. George Sibel, a Teacher recently
carried out a survey of 2000 students in North Bay to determine their
level of happiness.

Students were posed a series of 20 questions to determine such things as whether or not they were happy with their families, with their bodies, whether they felt sad, whether they felt loved or whether they felt they were loved by no-one. They were also asked to
rate their thoughts about today's societal values .

The results of the study "Student Happiness", along with some recommendations for responsive action will be released Thursday, November 30th - 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Scollard Hall's Carter Auditorium in North Bay.

This presentation will be of interest to all parents, teachers and students who are concerned about the emotional and psychological well being of our young adults.

Registration is not required.
