MIKE HARRIS ANNOUNCES CHILDREN'S TREATMENT CENTRE
IMPLEMENTATION TASK FORCE
September 27, 2001

On September 27, 2001, Mike Harris announced the creation of the Children's Treatment Centre (CTC)
Implementation Task Force and stated, "I am confident that Mr. Kilgour and the Task Force members
will provide a sound blueprint of how we should proceed with the new Children's Treatment Centre."

In the press release, Mr. Harris highlighted "This project is a priority. I look forward to a groundbreaking
ceremony within two years."

The Task Force met for the first time on Tuesday, October 16, 2001 to begin their work together. The
Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has asked the Task Force for their final report within 90 days.
