The Program
in Gender Equality and Social Justice,
the Campus Women's Centre, and
the Gender Equality Alliance of Nipissing
are again hard at work to bring to the university and North Bay communities
a series of events to celebrate International
Women's Week (IWD)
(February 26 - March 8, 2003).
This year our theme
is the
Criminalization of Poverty and the
Pursuit of Social Justice,
and our events are aimed at raising awareness about related local and
global social justice issues.
