Featuring three films, which will be open to the public, free of charge, and shown during International Women's Week. Each film will be followed by a panel of presenters, who will engage the audience in a critical discussion of questions and issues that arise from the films.

Film: Salaam Bombay
Using street children as her actors, Mira Nair's film captures the compassionate as well as the devastating side of life on the streets of India's homeless children.

Film: Ladybird, Ladybird
Ken Loach's docu-drama provides a powerful critique of British Social Services, through this portrayal of a woman's fight to get back the four children they have taken and to hang on to the one's she is carrying.

Steven Soderbergh's portrayal of an unemployed single mother, who takes on a U.S. Power Company accused of polluting the city's water supply.
