Women Rock!
A Party in Celebration of IWD

On 7 March 2003, we will throw a "Women Rock" celebration from 9 pm - 12 in the main floor Cafeteria at the Nipissing University campus, featuring a local band, The Spacial Fold.

This event will be a benefit for the food bank (a 50/50 split between the campus food bank and the downtown food bank) with a sliding scale cover of 0 $ or a food bank donation to whatever people can afford.

To this event, various local groups who work to promote social justice have been invited to set up information booths, including Transition House, Amelia Rising, Prideful Things, The Body Shop, Social Planning Council, Low Income People Involved in Nipissing, Metis Training Initiatives, Ojibway Family Resource Centre, and the North Bay Indian Friendship Centre.
