On June 1, 2006, the Canadian Breast Cancer Network (CBCN) launches its first-ever online auction to raise funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Network!
From June 1-30, 2006, more than 170 items will be up for auction; new items will be listed almost daily, so be sure to check back regularly - find theatre, dinner theatre, comedy club and sports tickets, get a great deal on hotel packages, buy some new tunes or reading materials. On Mondays and Thursdays, log on to see the newest selection of books and other items.
Visit the auction website tomorrow at http://www.realauction.ca/cbcn/en/ and start surfing for items to bid on. To bid, you will need to complete a simple registration form (on the site). Each item will be available between 7 and 20 days. See the Help text on the site to learn about proxy bidding. And check out the News section to see what's new at CBCN and on the auction site!
What better opportunity to go shopping and help the Network at the same time? You can also help by:
- Letting your family,
friends and colleagues know about CBCN's online auction
- Posting a message
on your company's Intranet, if you have access to one
- Sending the information to groups you are involved in or know about and asking them to pass it on, either by word of mouth, through their publications, e-letters, listservs, or posting it on their website.
