Changes to OW/ODSP Rules

 

Are you on Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Program?

 

On Dec. 15th, the Liberal Government announced new changes to OW/ODSP rules. The Income Security Advocacy Centre (ISAC), which is a province-wide legal clinic specializing in anti-poverty issues, has created a fact sheet that explains the new rules so you're aware of what you're entitled to or how the changes might impact you.

Both have been recently updated to reflect the 3% increase to social assistance rates that comes into effect in March and the recent 30 cent increase to the minimum wage.
