Please send your
own version of the sample letter, to your MP calling on the Government
of Canada to specify health transfer payments to your province for
rehabilitation services. When incorporated into activities of daily
living, rehabilitation techniques enable a person who is blind, visually
impaired or deaf blind to participate as an equal member of their
community and country.
Please also read
the following documents:
- Backgrounder
on rehabilitation services
- Sample
letter to MP, from Canadians who are blind, visually impaired or
deaf-blind
- Sample
letter to MP, from other supporters

your Member of Parliament using your Postal Code
Please add your
name, full mailing address (with postal code), and telephone number
(with area code) at the bottom of you letter. That way the MP knows
that you are one of his or her constituents.
In the next 13
weeks, I will be sending more sample letters and petitions. You are
encouraged to put the message into your own words.
You can locate
the name and address of your MP by calling 1-866-599-4999.
This Parliamentary Information Line is a toll-free service. If you
state your postal code, you will be given the name and address of
your MP. If you prefer to deliver a verbal message to your MP, you
can ask to have your call transferred to your MP's Ottawa office.
By the way, here
