ELECTION ALERT

June 24, 2004

IN THIS ELECTION, FEWER WOMEN THAN EVER HAVE BEEN NOMINATED.

ASK EACH CANDIDATE "WHY"?

WOMEN NEED TO MAKE THEIR VOTES COUNT.

Ask questions: get answers!

b ullet Does their party support the Canada Health Act? What will they do to ensure that low income citizens, the disabled, the chronically ill, have their access to the health care professionals, the medications and the treatments that they need assured and available?

b ullet What will their party do to overcome the Housing Deficit in Canada? What are the programmes their party will use to ensure safe, affordable housing for both the visible and the invisible (usually women) homeless citizens?

b ullet How will their party act to implement the Kyoto Protocols? What measures will be taken to improve air quality, and ensure safe water supply?

b ullet What measures will their party undertake to alleviate the high debt load that University graduates now have due to the lack of support for post-secondary education?

b ullet What will their party do to protect women and children from violence of all sorts, from physical assault to deadly attacks often using firearms?

b ullet What is their party's programme to ensure that the Human Rights of Aboriginal Women are respected? How will their party improve living standards for all Aboriginal Women?

Speak up and out. Make each vote an informed vote.
