Questions for Ernie Eves on Electricity 416-325-1941

1. Given the fact that electricity deregulation has not worked anywhere, what is the Conservatives plan to get our electricity systems back if this risky experiment in deregulation doesn't work?

2. How will adding in profits to generators, profits to distributors, profits to retailers, dividends to investors and commissions to commodities brokers give us cheaper Hydro rates?

3. How is it a credible position for the Conservatives to be promoting huge profits, in the billions of dollars to be taken out of the country by foreign Trans-national corporations? Why not keep those profits here to pay for things like Healthcare and Education?

4. The debt at Hydro is like a mortgage. Mr. Eves you are condemning us, our children and our children's children to be renters of our Hydro systems and forever being at the mercy of the corporations.

5. Does it make any sense for the people of Ontario to be paying the Debt on assets they will no longer own?

6. What are the NAFTA implications for Blackouts, Prices and the Environment?

7. All the polls show overwhelmingly that the people of Ontario don't want deregulation. The Courts have ruled to stop Privatization. The democratically elected officials of 28 City Councils including Toronto, Ottawa, Windsor and London representing over 5 million people in Ontario have passed resolutions telling the Government to stop deregulation and Privatization. Deregulation of electricity has not worked anywhere in the world and the people of Ontario don't want it here. Listen to the PEOPLE!
