From 1975 to 1992, Dr. Jeri Wine was a professor in counseling and community
psychology and feminist studies at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE).
She advanced to the rank of full professor and was Chair of the Department of
Applied Psychology for three years. She was President of the Canadian
Research Institute for the Advancement of Women (CRIAW); was on the Editorial Board
of Resources for Feminist Research, and published many scholarly articles and
edited volumes. Dr. Wine was a pioneer in feminist studies.

Living and working in the Halifax area for the last eight years, she was a
registered psychologist in private psychotherapy practice in Halifax and previously in
Charlottetown and Toronto. Her passion for social justice was most recently
expressed through her involvement with the Raging Grannies in Halifax.
In later life, she became a prolific artist whose sculptures are
cherished by her family and friends.

We hope you will be able to attend and share your memories of Jeri with others.
