WHO WE ARE

The North Bay Network for Social Action is a coalition of individuals and community organizations in the
City of North Bay who have united to promote social and economic justice in our community, by
increasing solidarity and the sharing of information and strategies.

As part of our goals we will identify issues of common concern and identify areas for action.

Our first meeting was held on November 5th, 2001 at the Anishnabe Friendship Centre. Participating were
labour and community activists and members from the following organizations as well as concerned community
citizens.

If you are interested in joining us, please contact us.

The Network is co-facilitated by the Rev. Terry O'Conner and Barbara Anello of
DAWN Ontario: DisAbled Women's Network Ontario.

North Bay Network for Social Action is proud to be a community partner of the
Ontario Coalition for Social Justice
and the Coalition for Social Jusicte of Northern Ontario
