Ontario Social Safety NetWork - The OSSN is an Ontario-wide coalition of low income community groups, legal clinics, social agencies and faith based groups committed to addressing poverty and inequity by working on issues of concern to low income communities and vulnerable groups.

 

  • To improve the delivery and accessibility of income security programs, and ensure the adequacy of benefits.

  • To facilitate the development of effective, sustainable local anti-poverty groups run by low-income people.

  • To share best practices of existing projects which create economic opportunities and increase civic and social participation for low-income people.

  • To strengthen the communications, decision-making and public education capacity of the OSSN.
