Tanis Doe, a sociologist and disability rights activist, fell in love with dance after competing in
Amsterdam and discovering the possibilities of movement for people with disabilities.

Michele Andersen, a Somatic Movement Therapist, has taught and performed mixed abilities dance for
four years. She and Tanis performed in a professional group for the KickstArt convention
in Vancouver 2002. They have performed in Winnipeg, Victoria and Vancouver.

In March 2004, Tanis and Michele were among the keynote speakers at the Pacific Rim Conference
in Maui, Hawaii where they performed a number of different dance styles including
Latin, Ballroom and Modern (waltz, tango, jive, chacha, rhumba).
